Terms of Service

  1. Introduction

Welcome to SCRIVAI, an educational platform designed to promote the ethical and productive use of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning. SCRIVAI offers various services, including:

  1. Use of the Platform

2.1. Age Requirements

Users must be at least 18 years old to register and use SCRIVAI independently. Minors may access the platform only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians, who are responsible for supervising their use. SCRIVAI is not responsible for unauthorized access by minors without proper supervision and parental control.

2.2. Registration

To access certain SCRIVAI services, users must create an account by providing truthful, current and complete information. It is the user's responsibility to:

  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of their access credentials.
  • Not share their account with third parties or allow unauthorized access.
  • Notify SCRIVAI immediately if unauthorized access to their account is suspected.

SCRIVAI reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts if false information, fraud or misuse of the platform is detected.

2.3. Responsible Use

Scrivai users must use the platform ethically and in accordance with applicable laws. The following is expressly prohibited:

  • Fraudulent or deceptive use: Attempting to manipulate SCRIVAI systems, including Guardian, for dishonest purposes.
  • Tampering or interference: Using tools or techniques that compromise the security, functionality or integrity of SCRIVAI.
  • Misuse of AI: Attempting to evade detection of unauthorized AI through external software or manipulation techniques.
  • Unauthorized sharing: Distributing, copying or sharing SCRIVAI Academy content without permission.
  • Illegal or inappropriate conduct: Any action that violates laws, third-party rights or established academic standards.

Failure to comply with these provisions may result in suspension or cancellation of the account, with no right to a refund if the user has a paid subscription.

  1. Monitoring System – Guardian

3.1. Purpose

Guardian is a monitoring tool designed to help students and educational institutions verify the authenticity of academic work and demonstrate the ethical use of artificial intelligence in educational activities. Its primary purpose is to provide a transparent mechanism that allows users to record their work process without external intervention.

3.2. Recording and Monitoring

Guardian operates entirely locally on the user's device. SCRIVAI does not store, collect or have access to recordings made through the system.

  • Video and audio recording takes place directly in the browser and is automatically downloaded to the user's computer.
  • Recordings are never sent to SCRIVAI servers or monitored by the system.
  • The user has full control over their recordings and can decide what to do with them.

If an educational institution requires evidence regarding the ethical use of AI, the user may, voluntarily or at the request of their university, share their recordings as evidence of compliance with academic standards.

3.3. Privacy and Security

Because recordings generated by Guardian are stored exclusively on the user's device, SCRIVAI has no access to these files and therefore does not perform any processing, analysis or review of the recorded material.

To ensure data privacy and security:

  • Recordings exist only on the user's computer and are not uploaded to external servers.
  • SCRIVAI cannot view, review or share recordings under any circumstances.
  • Responsibility for managing recordings rests exclusively with the user, who may keep, delete or share them according to their academic needs.
  • If requested by an educational institution, the user may choose to submit recordings as evidence of compliance with regulations, but this is entirely optional and at the user's discretion.

Guardian provides a transparency tool so users can support their academic performance without compromising their privacy.
